IHG - KUWAIT & KUWAIT FINANCE HOUSE ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP

This week, Kuwait witnessed a remarkable joint venture between two powerhouses, pioneers in their own field.  Leading the hospitality industry in Kuwait since 1982, IHG – Kuwait comprising the Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Kuwait, Salmiyah & Holiday Inn Downtown and the leading Islamic bank in Kuwait since 1977, the Kuwait Finance House. This collaboration was celebrated at Al Afrah ballroom at Crowne Plaza Kuwait. The gathering was warmly welcomed by eminent dignitaries from both groups the KFH and the IHG - Kuwait representing Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Downtown and NAC restaurants comprising Ruby Tuesday and Peppes Pizza. IHG- Kuwait and KFH aim towards excellence in maximizing relations with their customers and giving them total value for their loyalty by giving them special benefits and access to exclusive credit card installments for their facilities

In a mutual agreement of co – branding partnership between major names in hospitality and banking, the agreement was drawn up and signed by Hani Kafafi, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Kuwait and Director of Operations – IHG Northern Gulf and Julio Lobo, Manager of Banking Cards Department for Kuwait Finance House.

Mr. Hani Kafafi, the General Manager of Crowne Plaza Kuwait and Director of Operations – IHG Northern Gulf, in his welcome address said ‘Companies are strongly endorsing co-branding and it was indeed remarkable that 2 powerful brands, giants in their own field have joined together to give their customers the best and ensure that the relationship between the business and customers is stronger than ever”

Mr. Rafik Kamel, the Cluster Director of Sales made a presentation briefly explaining the details on the partnership. KFH account holders will enjoy special privileges with IHG hotels in Kuwait. From now on, all KFH credit card holders will be able to enjoy all the Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Salmiyah facilities such as room nights, weddings, health club/spa memberships, restaurants at home and outside caterings and pay in 9 months. The Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn can offer any of these services on credit basis, enabling the KFH credit card holder to better opportunities to have their events or even by memberships and pay in easy installments.

All KFH Pre-paid cardholders will receive a complimentary Privilege Club membership card, which will enable them to have dining discounts in the top 23 restaurants of Kuwait. 10 years into its inception and success in the Kuwait market, the loyalty programme, Privilege Club has taken a giant leap in the world of business with its new partnership launch with the Kuwait Finance House. A pioneer of the banking phenomenon known as Islamic Finance, the Kuwait Finance House is a market leader not only in the Islamic Banking industry but also in the banking sector as a whole.

Adding more, Mr. Julio Lobo, Manager of Banking Cards Department for Kuwait Finance House further remarked that all pre-paid card holders for the Kuwait Finance House – both existing and new – will enjoy exclusive dining privileges at all the restaurants of the Crowne Plaza Kuwait, Holiday Inn Kuwait, Holiday Inn Downtown and the restaurants of Ruby Tuesday and Peppes Pizza.
